Job Description
Production Engineer is responsible for developing processes and methods to accelerate the Lab-to-Fab transition activities. He is also responsible for verifying mechanical designs and drawings, supporting qualification and manufacturing defense/ military electro-optical systems. The engineer is responsible for overseeing the defect free manufacturing of the components, parts and the complete assembly of prototypes and the products.
Skills
Coordinating and controlling oral and written reporting of project efforts related to manufacturing. Setting and meeting time and budget constraints. Supporting proposals based on novel ideas and concepts for various projects in current and new areas of expertise. Providing mentoring, supervision, evaluation and development guidance to junior staff. Owning end-to-end responsibility for visualizing and manufacturing defense electro-optical systems for probing, guidance, countermeasures and imaging. Developing methods for maintenance and repair of subsystems, and preparing test procedures. Should have strong communication skills to be able to understand the clients' requirement and resolve any relevant issues.

Mechanical Engineering
