• Designing and implementing new network solutions and improving the current network environment.
• Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment including routers, switching equipment, IP phone and voice services, firewalls, proxy servers, DNS, DHCP, Load balancers etc.
• Assist in planning, evaluating, and selecting new hardware and software.
• Procuring network equipment and software as needed and managing the vendors involved.
• Supporting and administering firewall environments in line with security policy.
• Maximizing, optimizing, and improving network efficiency and performance by monitoring network and performance, analyzing problems, and improving configurations.
• Securing network systems by implementing and enforcing security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the CyberSecurity department, and by monitoring access, auditing IP addressing, and the hosted devices within the network.
• Updating network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases.
• Taking timely backup of configurations of network equipment.
• Liaising with vendors and IT personnel for problem resolution. Providing timely support to Level 2/3 support requests.

• Ability to speak and write effectively in Arabic and English.
• Analytical mind and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and keeping up-to-date with the technology industry.
• Teamwork and good time management skills.
• Strong drive to provide excellent customer service and experience, with an awareness of prioritization of tasks, stakeholders, budget, and time.

• CCNA certification and firewall knowledge preferred.
