Job Description
- Design, simulate and implement basepand waveform for SDR-based communication systems
- Develop FPGA firmware using VHDL (preferred) or Verilog for digital communication systems
- Develop, test and verify embedded subsystems for communication systems
- Participate in integration of purchased FPGA IP-Cores
- Work as a part of team with Hardware, Software and System engineers to meet system requirements
Skills
- Experience in VHDL or Verilog design and implementation
- Experience in MATLAB simulation for communication systems
- Knowledge of communication systems theory (Analoge & Digital modulation techniques, signaling, propagation, waveform, digital signal processing, networking etc.)
- Knowledge of C programming of embedded systems
- Has an ability to work for both Xilinx and Altera FPGA
