EW Software Engineer

• Participating in developing Electronic Warfare software applications.
• Participating in the technical plans and schedule execution of EW software solutions in a software development role.
• Engaged in software development Activities consist of all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, preliminary and detailed design, implementation, and test.
• ensuring the quality of all software deliverables, ensuring allocated requirements are considered correctly in the design, ensuring the design is consistent with the overall software architecture, and the implementation and test meets both the design and requirements.
• Prepare weekly and monthly technical reports.
• Engage with the clients and attend the internal and external meetings
• Participation in preparing technical proposals for clients
• Participation in requirements derivation workshops with clients
• Oversees the development of customized software requirement.
• Participation in FAT and SAT activities and reports
• Mentor and train other engineers throughout the Center
• Be proactive about challenges or constraints within a project and seek to manage them accordingly
• Assist other department engineers in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions
• Work alongside project management teams to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiatives
• Work closely with engineering professionals within the Center to maintain hardware and software needed for projects to be completed efficiently
• Participation in the Engineering development and implementation of EW project (wide band ESM/COMINT systems to detect, localize and classify Communications and navigation systems, deception jamming, noise jamming, etc.)
• Participation in communication and navigation systems ECCM techniques and system evaluation
• Developing, updating, and maintaining, software used for EW Testing
• Overseeing the development of software documentation
• Managing the software development lifecycle
• Monitoring system performance
• Design Systems through well written Requirements and Design artifacts
• Creating technical documentation such as specifications, test procedures, test plans, interconnect diagrams, flow charts, etc. based on system design specifications
• Bring Systems to life with Integration and Test responsibilities
• Work with the rest of the engineering team through the entire project development lifecycle
• Working on a team of engineers (Hardware, Software and Systems) on EW related programs.
• Participate in problem solving in a large real time complex embedded system environment
• Requirement analysis / management for complex Electronic Warfare system
• Contributor to a projects review (SRR, PDR, CDR)
• Performs system level integration and test for real time embedded systems
