Job Description
Embedded system engineer is responsible for design and implementation of embedded software for defense/ military electro-optical systems. This role requires a strong knowledge of hardware and software for interfacing and integration of subsystems with deferent types of sensors, actuators, displays and all other peripherals using Microcontrollers/ microprocessors. The embedded system engineer will assume the following responsibilities in technology development ecosystem
- Develop hardware and software specifications against the requirements
- Design, prototype and verify systems for various embedded applications
- Develop and maintain firmware for embedded platforms
- Create and manage documentation for active projects
- Interact with clients and help with the development of customized embedded solutions
- Test and debug embedded software and applications
Skills
- The engineer is skilled enough for overseeing the defect free implementation of the embedded solutions
- Should have strong communication skills to be able to understand the clients' requirement and resolve any relevant issues
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and C/C++
- Experience with various Microcontroller/microprocessor such as Atmel AVR, STM32 and PIC families
