Cybersecurity Specialist

• Implement security controls, risk assessment framework, and program that aligns to regulatory requirements, ensuring documented and sustainable compliance that aligns and advances department objectives.

• Develop cybersecurity policies and related documentation.

• Evaluate risks and develops security standards, procedures, and controls to manage risks. Improves PSDSARC security positioning through process improvement, policy, automation, and the continuous evolution of capabilities.

• Implements processes, such as GRC (governance, risk, and compliance), to automate and continuously monitor information security controls, exceptions, risks, testing.

• Configure, implement, and maintain all security platforms and any other related software, such as anti-virus, routers, Anti-SPAM, switches, intrusion detection or intrusion prevention, firewalls, cryptography systems, SIEM, and MDM.

• Plan and appraise ongoing assessment of antivirus, application control, firewall.

• Guarantee network security best practices are executed through auditing: router, change control, switch, firewall configurations, and monitoring.

• Responsible for periodic vulnerability testing, and lead remediation projects.

• Certification in CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security, CCIA and vendor related certifications is preferred.
• Good knowledge in enterprise IT security infrastructure

Computer Science, Information Technology, cybersecurity or relative degree.
