Composite Manufacturing Technician

1. Work on manufacturing, assembly, and repair of composite parts and structures related to airframe. Must have experience in hand layup and safe handling of composite materials for airframe manufacturing.
2. Work as part of the manufacturing team to manufacture various composite parts including moulding, hand layup, curing, bonding, and machining.
3. Assembly and fitting of various composite and metal parts.
4. Repair of composite structures and parts related to airframes.
5. Material storage, procurement, inventory control, and documentation.
6. Ability to operate the autoclave.
7. Provides technical support to other employees in the lab.

• Ability to make composite parts and structures using hand layup.
• Good understanding of composite materials, handling, storage, and safety.
• Be a highly motivated self-starter capable of working independently.
• Ability to use various machine tools for composite machining.
• Ability to understand various composite parts manufacturing drawings, processes, and instructions.
• Have good verbal and written communications skills in the English language.
• Follows safety practices and quality conformance requirement while performing all duties.
