Job Description
- Take responsibility for the establishment of a QMS in the organisation.
- Direct and assist in producing and publishing of QA related processes and procedures.
- Drive the adoption of QM and QC aspects throughout the organisation.
- Ensure that sufficient trained resources in QM/QC is available to meet the organisation’s quality objectives.
- Provide continuous QA and QC related best practises mentoring of development and production resources in the organisation.
- Provide assistance (consultation) in regards all quality related aspects in the organisation.
- Provide day to day guidance/direction to project core personnel in the application of QA and QC.
- Throughout all actions and initiatives, will continue to pursue the ultimate goal of obtaining an ISO 9001: 2015 quality certification for PSDSARC.
Skills
• Experience in setting up and maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS) for high tech development organisations.
• Experience in setting up and maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS) for high tech development organisations.
• Experience in applying Quality Control measures and procedures.
• Familiar with Quality Standards (development and production) i.e. ISO 9001 etc.
• Experienced in a lead QA/QC role in the development, including prototype production, of industrial grade products in the military and/or aviation domains.
• High level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft OfficeTM.
• Good leadership qualities.
• Mentorship abilities
• A passion for quality.
• Good written and verbal proficiency in English.
