Mechanical CAD Engineer

• Designing different 3D Models of the parts and assemblies related to opto-mechanics and optical fields.

• Deal in Surface module of Solidworks software to make irregular non-conventional shapes.

• All the models designed in 3D would be transformed in 2D drawings to narrate each and every dimension required to fully explain the part geometry and assembly.

• Generate manufacturing code directly from the model to be fabricated in workshop.

• Simulate the dynamics of the modeled design to check viability and movability of the mechanical structures using mechanism module of SolidWorks software.

• Analyze the expected behavior of the part or assembly under certain boundary conditions

The potential candidate should have the following skills:

• True Understanding of Design principles and appreciable knowledge of material properties. 

• Clear knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes and their relation to design process. 

• 3D Modeling in SolidWorks.

• Surfacing Module in SolidWorks.

• 2D Drawing Generation in Solidworks.

• Manufacturing Code Generation in SolidWorks. Moderate Level in Electronics Module in SolidWorks.

• Mechanism Module in SolidWorks. Moderate level in Vibration modal Analysis
