Embedded Systems Design Expert

• Design & Development of Flight Control Computer for autonomous aerial systems that can embed/run autopilot algorithms
• Embedded system design & development mostly comprised of mixed signal
• Firmware development for real-time systems
• Defining & Executing testing, debugging, fault detection and qualification of individual PCB’s as well as of LRU’s containing multiple stacked PCBs
• Design & Implementation of Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) against specific requirements
• Guidance control system design and development for autonomous systems
• Simulations development, Hardware in Loop Simulations (HILS) with and without multi-axis rate table
• SPICE simulations for circuit verification
• Design & Development of actuator electronics drives, power regulation, filtration & distribution units
• Factory Assessment Tests (FAT) and Customer Assessment Tests (CAT) for Laser quadrant detector, & design of high fidelity customized circuit for simultaneously reading 4 peaks of Laser Quadrant detector
• Hands on in preparing Technical Data Pack (TDP) and understanding of Configuration Management (CM) documentation process
• Frequent user of development tools like TI Code Composer Studio, MS Visual Studio and Tasking EDE
• Integration of Guidance unit, Power regulation/distribution unit, sensors and actuator modules followed by system level qualification
• Ability to design, implement, solve problems, and validate complex control software in embedded systems Powertrain
• HMI and built-in test design and implementation
• PWM based high performance BLDC motor drives for 3-phase motors
• In field Preflight testing of the system, post flight analysis and presenting the data to higher management
• Avionics development of Range Extension Kits and support during its field trials

• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, DFMEA, Functional Safety
• Sound knowledge of VHDL, Xilinx ISE C, C++ and assembly
• Working knowledge of linux and version control
