Antenna Design Unit Supervisor

The RCS Lab at PSDSARC has a dedicated antenna engineering group specializing in the design, fabrication and testing of antennas and antenna systems. The role of the antenna design unit supervisor is to do the following:

• Lead the antenna design unit, manage the antenna engineering efforts, and assign antenna design related tasks to the team members.
• Expert-level design, analysis and innovation of antenna elements, arrays, constrained & non-constrained feeding subsystems, antenna reflectors, structures and assemblies, and other antenna subsystems such as couplers, power dividers/combiners and radomes mainly for Radar, and communications systems within the entire electromagnetic spectrum.
• Design of passive RCS augmentation devices for different types of platforms.
• Expert-level use of lab equipment such as anechoic chamber, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, material characterization, automated measurements and antenna positioning systems for antenna elements and antenna assemblies testing, verification and calibration.
• Design, execution, and supervision of antenna experiments and field tests.
• Provide theoretical and practical training to young PSDSARC engineers and interns, as well as outside clients who are interested in antenna design.
• Documentation of design efforts, test procedures and test reports.

• Expert knowledge on Electromagnetics and antenna design theory
• Familiarity with antenna and EM design and analysis tools such as CST, FEKO, HPSS and Matlab.
• Familiarity with software tools used in measurement automation such as LabView.
• Familiarity with Radar, and communications systems
• Familiarity with Systems Engineering and Project Management processes
